Glenbar has released native fish back to river since Spring of 2004 along with the help of Wakool Land & Water Management Plan and the Wakool Fishing Club.

This 30 Pound Cod was caught and released on January 15th 2004 within walking distance of the cabin.
Glenbar encourages the release of large cod (15 pound and over).
A cod of this size is capable of producing between 30/40,000 fingerlings a year.
For the future of fishing, it's in everybody's interest.
